This is a guest house a stone’s throw from the sea, in the «quiet center». Very close to the main attractions, shops, cafes, souvenir shops.
We are talking about a room «with conveniences» in the heart of Feodosia, near the Alexander Green Museum, but not on the main street, but a little to the side. This is considered the first line, in my opinion, the perfect location!
I don’t write the name of the guest house, because immediately people will think that this is an advertisement. If anyone is interested, I’ll send you a private message. In fact, I just want to dispel the myth that everything in Crimea is unrealistically expensive.
We stayed at this guest house at the end of May/beginning of June. Now, at the height of the season, prices have risen, of course, but not critically. If on the days of our vacation we paid 1250 rubles per day, now (I specifically went to the site to clarify) the price is 2000 rubles. Please note: not per person, but per room for three.
We found this guest house through Booking.com. (Watch a video on how to rent a house in Crimea on Booking.com). Without prepayment, without specifying the plastic card number. Paid on the spot, in cash. We were given only 3 days to rest in Feodosia. We left with regret: we liked the city and the housing. If we were not pressed for time, we could easily live here for a week or two …
The territory of the guest house is quite small, and most of it is occupied by the rooms themselves. But here there was a place for a small garden, and an ornamental pond, and paved areas with several plastic tables and chairs. Look how green and cozy (scroll through the gallery).

Our room was designed for three. The area of the room is 16-18 square meters. My husband and I took a double bed, the grandson was placed on a folding chair-bed.
In addition to sleeping places, the room has a double wardrobe, a coffee table, a pair of stools, two bedside tables, a cabinet for shoes at the entrance.
There is a refrigerator in the room, an electric kettle, a small set of dishes: glasses, cups, saucers, teaspoons, forks. In the closet they found a compact safe (the lock worked properly) and a powerful hair dryer. And also an extra pillow and a set of blankets.
Bed linen is not quite new, incomplete, but clean, ironed. The towels are thick and very good quality.
I will show our number in the photo (there are several pictures in the gallery):

Of course, in the guest house all rooms are air-conditioned. Wifi worked great.
There were no interruptions with water either, at any time we had the opportunity to take a warm shower. By the way, about the shower: look how clean the bathroom in our room is, what an excellent condition the plumbing is in:

The guest house has a sauna, very interestingly decorated with portholes and a door from a decommissioned submarine. There is also a beautiful outdoor fireplace. But during our stay, there were no people willing to heat the bathhouse and kindle the fireplace.

To the right of the fireplace, which is visible in the photo above, there is a shared kitchen: outside, but under a canopy. The only thing I didn’t like was that the kitchen had very stale kitchen appliances (stove, microwave), rather old cabinets. Yes, and it could be cleaner … Again, the cleanliness in the common kitchen largely depends on ourselves — vacationers.
It was a great budget option: there is everything you need and even a little more.
So, the rumors that #renting a house in Crimea costs fabulous money are just rumors. You can find a decent option and for a modest fee. And even in high season.
Personally, I liked this guest house so much that next time I would not refuse to settle here again.
